The Vortex
This fantastically funny female troupe will transform one of YOUR suggestions into a whole fantastic show with no scripts, no conferring, and nothing preplanned!

The Monkey-Meisner Mashup
Duncan and Colin from MonkeyHeads will be performing the Monkey-Meisner Mashup! It’s an organic form, creating scenes that are often closer to surreal than a gag-fest, yet often get laughs too.

Mark Craig’s Me Plus One
Mark has been performing on stage since the age of eight, and in all that time has managed to slightly improve. For the past ten years, this performing has mainly been improv and so far no one has put a stop to it. Based in Edinburgh, Mark regularly teaches improv to anyone who’ll listen and is a member of To Be Continued…, The Spontaneous Players, Four Folks Ache and any other group that needs an extra body onstage.
Tonight he will be joined on stage in a one-off twoprov that reunites him with Missimp’s own Lloydie!!

The Vox Pops
Each show they have a monologist (storyteller, to you and me) who will tell us a true story from their lives which The Vox Pops will then unpack to reveal the real meaning of the story through a cavalcade of characters and a smorgasbord of scenes. The truth has never been funnier.

With no script, no staging, and only a pair of chairs for a set, Liam and Lloydie spin a simple audience suggestion into hilarious, spontaneous entertainment. Plots and sub-plots galore, and a whole cast of characters effortlessly juggled by the two improvisers. You will laugh, you may cry… Who knows what’ll happen? They sure don’t.

THE VOX POPS

What if you could choose the title of a brand new musical and then see it performed instantly? That’s what is going to happen to one audience member when the East Midlands’ favourite musical improv team takes to the stage. When you arrive you will be asked to write down the title of a musical that’s never been seen before; if yours is drawn out of the hat, Rhymes Against Humanity will perform a brand new, fully improvised musical immediately – no scripts, no conferring, no pre-planning, just totally spontaneous musical madness!
