Audio, Video, Improv

AV Club is giving improvisers the opportunity to produce and perform in digital media. We’ve got the performers, the skills and the kit, and we’re putting them all together to make fun content to publish online.

Opportunity

Comedy online is depends on getting good audio and video. AV club gives performers and crew the opportunity to learn the skills of media production in regular monthly recording sessions.

Publishing regularly

We record content once a month, producing a months worth of content to distribute regularly. This consistency helps maintain our skills, but also helps maintain an audience online.

Lights, Camera, Sound, Edit

Two cameras, microphones, lights, backdrops. Making content relies on using lots of kits on hardware, software and stagecraft. AV Club is here to teach improvisers interested in media production what they need to get stuck in helping produce content. Once improvisers know how to make digital media, Missimp and AV Club can be there to support new ideas and projects.

Be where the comedy is

Right now, comedians are online. They are on Youtube shorts, Tiktok, Facebook and Instagram Reels. They are performing and talking on podcasts. Missimp wants to join in, and AV Club is how we can get our community, our comedians, on peoples screens.

We need you!

Missimp needs volunteers from the community to make AV Club work. We need performers who are confident in their knowledge of improv, work well in a team, and have that ambition to publish their work to the world. We also need crew to work the camera’s, mics, and lights, as well as edit the footage into that sweet, sweet comedy content.

We will soon be opening AV Club to applications for both cast and crew roles, so watch this space
