Richard Minkley
I’m Richard, and I’ve been a member of MissImp for about five years now. God, five years. In MissImp years, that’s old. Anyway…
I am a digital media producer, which is a fancy way of saying I do podcasts. I used to be a reporter for Notts TV and I’ve got skills in media production. Speaking of media production, I’m responsible for the ‘Improbable Missions: MissImp Oral History project’, which is the first project of its kind in the country and possibly the world. The project is going to end up with a podcast documentary that should be out early 2021. As for performing, I’ve performed with The Vox Pops, as well as part of MissImp On Fire, Consenting Partners and the Smash Night Social Club. I’ve also help run shows like Nonsuch’s Improv Nonsense and Order! The Improvised Trial.

During the coronavirus outbreak, MissImp has continued to offer entirely free online activities for our community, including commissioning an ongoing series of paid virtual drop-ins from improvisers around the world, fortnightly online Gorilla Burger shows and more. If you’d like to help us keep these activities going and keep our lights on we’d be immensely grateful. Together, we can get through this.
