Harrumph! Who parked their stonking great Improv Festival in our spot! Luckily August has 5 Fridays so we’re having the Playground this Friday instead.
This months theme was: CAT AND MOUSE
I was expecting more chasing around the stage ideas but we seem to have gone more conceptual this month as well as a healthy smattering of off theme suggestions too. What joy!
We have a “everyone gets one till everyone had one” system so if you have a game suggestion or several come along and we’ll throw your name in the hat. We also have an ever growing Playground stockpile.
The Improv Playground is an evening for new short form games. Whether you want to practice, try out, create, modify or destroy your chosen game, it’s entirely up to you! We’ll play the game and then play with the game!
As always, if you want to discuss all things short form join the Playground Whatsapp! Simply get in contact with Duncan and they’ll add you.
Beginner friendly! Some games are our own inventions so we’re all beginners. Everything is fully explained and we adapt to confidence and energy levels. Please be aware that this is a practical session and there may be periods of discussion.
