MissImp at the Not The Glastonbury Festival
Saturday 25 August and Sunday 26 August
If you’re looking for a lovely way to spend one of the Bank Holiday weekend days, why not head down to Bartons in Chilwell for the Not the Glastonbury Festival?
As well as some great live music performances from the likes of Miss600 and The Petebox, MissImp – Nottingham’s only performance improvised comedy group – will be at the Festival all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Our fully CRB checked improv teachers be running a kids’ improvised comedy workshop on each day from 10.30am until 12.00pm. Kids aged 8-17 will be treated to an introduction to improvised comedy and will learn about thinking on their feet and working in groups as well as basic improv skills. This is all as a taster for our new Little Imps workshops which start in Nottingham in September (for the 8-12s) and our new Teen Imps workshops which start October for 13-17 year olds.
And, as well as running these brilliant kids’ workshops, we’ll be putting on a four man family-friendly improvised comedy show on both Saturday and Sunday from 1pm.
So, bring your kids and treat them to some improv fun in the form of an introduction to improvisation and a hilarious show where our players will perform with no script and based entirely on YOUR suggestions.
