“The Wonderful Wheel of Improv Wisdom”, with Richard
Over 1000 millions of years ago, improv was solved. All the wisdom required for improv, and subsequently transcendence, was carved into a wheel. All one needed to do was spin the wheel and the firmament would vanish, allowing pure improv, a.k.a. ‘prov’, to provide the perfect note to make the perfect scene. After a tireless search, Richard did not find find the ancient improv wheel. So he’s knocked one up from a Lazy Susan instead. In this drop-in, we’ll spin the wheel and see what note “Missimp’s Wonderful Wheel of Improv Wisdom and Whimsy” (trademark pending) provides.
MissImp’s Weekly Improv Drop-In
We’ve run a weekly drop-in workshop for improvised comedy in Nottingham since 2005! Come and check it out – everyone’s welcome to join the fun.
The perfect intimate opportunity to practice some of our favourite improv games, and stretch out those improvising muscles. Each week features training in a different set of skills, exercises, scenes, or games, facilitated by various members of the Nottingham improv community.
- 18+, and suitable for all levels of experience, with an emphasis on having a good time and improving everyone’s improvising experience.
