Unspeakable Acts – Theatre on Bath Salts – Tuesday 19th November 2013

Unspeakable Acts_SQ

Unspeakable Acts – A Deadly Mind Trip into Theatre

We bring you a mutant hybrid of scripted drama and improvised comedy – taking the best / worst of Hollywood and showing you the film that plays out when our improvisers get their kaleidoscopic brains on it.

The players will begin performing a scripted play chosen by the audience; as the show progresses, the script is distorted, violated and abandoned. In its place we will create a new narrative, a squalid perversion of the playwright’s intentions or a beautiful butterfly made of broken dreams.

Challenging, deviant, endlessly inventive and surprising. Oh – and funny. Funny is important too.

Come in from the cold and enjoy Nottingham’s finest improvised comedy show

MissImp_in_Action-SQ2

Your monthly fix of daft, funny and downright bizarre improvised comedy is just a few days away – and you can snap up your tickets now.

This month’s show includes a mixture of the hilarious games you love so much, a unique take on a well-loved film and lots more. It’s two hours of top-notch comedy and we’ll guarantee you’ve never seen it before or will ever see it again.

A three course meal of amazing comedy

We are the only show in town bringing you a gorgeous blend of seasoned old pros and brand new improv comedy talent.

You’ll enjoy an aperitif of lovely games from our Mayhem Improv team before your beloved Glee team serve up a starter of news-based sketches. Your main course is the brilliant Unspeakable Acts where you’ll witness a film that you know and love in a totally different way. And, if that’s not enough, we’ll top it all with a pudding made out of some of your favourite silly games.

There’s nothing like improvised comedy – it’s unique and different every single time. You will NEVER see the same scene twice, so come along and enjoy comedy that is for your eyes only.

MissImp in Action – Improv Comedy Show Friday 27th September 2013 at The Glee Club

Punch Autumn in the Funny Face

A Brave New World

MissImp_in_Action-SQ2We are massively excited to be back at The Glee Club in a few days time with the Nottingham Comedy Festival – you should be there too.

This show just gets more exciting, fresh and ingenious: we’re mutating, evolving and bulging unique comedy muscles that we’re keen to show off in front of you lovely folks.

A Unique Line Up

We are the only show in town bringing you a gorgeous blend of brand new improv comedy talent, some of whom have never graced a comedy stage with their faces before! And that’s just the start…

We give you short form comedy from Mayhem Improv playing games to make you laugh and torment the players. We follow that with quick fire lateral Marvels of Montage with familiar faces and uncommon wits.

In the second half your beloved Glee team give you an Assscat taking inspiration from stories and then finally, after a night of incomparable unpreparedness Unspeakable Acts present a film or play you know and love in a totally different way.

There’s nothing like improvised comedy – it’s unique and different every single time. You will NEVER see the same scene twice, so come along and enjoy comedy that is for your eyes only.

This month’s show is on Friday 27th September and you can book your tickets here.
