Aimed at teachers, leaders, and directors of improv companies, this 2 1/2 hour online workshop is a crash course in supporting, teaching, and playing alongside disabled and neurodivergent improvisers. They could be your teammates, students, jam partners and beyond!
The first half of the workshop is interactive, scenario-based discussion and the second half is more lecture-style where you’ll have the chance to ask as many questions as you like without any judgement.
AMY DICKINSON and ERIN ENFYS are both disabled improvisers, writers, and theatre makers and Erin is also neurodivergent, so you will learn from first-hand lived experience.
With roughly 1 in 7 people identifying as either disabled or neurodivergent, and nearly 75% of disabled or neurodivergent improvisers feeling unsafe to reveal their symptoms in an improv setting, taking this course will highlight your company, staff and teachers as an inclusive organisation and could even increase your revenue. You’ve really got nothing to lose!
