Improv Taster Session

Looking for a new way to have fun? Want to build your confidence? Love to make your friends laugh? This is the perfect place for you. This FREE Improv taster session will introduce you to a whole new way of finding fun in the everyday. You’ll learn some new skills, meet a welcoming group of people and have a chance to give Improv a go before committing any money to it. Bargain! This session is specifically for those who have not attended any/many MissImp events before so everyone will be in the same boat experience-wise.

This taster session is run by MissImp. MissImp have been creating improvised comedy and theatre for over 20 years. You will have seen them around Nottingham at venues like Nottingham Playhouse, Nonsuch Studios and the Glee Club. They regularly offer workshops, courses and performance opportunities to people of all levels in the Nottingham improv community.

Whilst we strive for accessibility with all of our venues, this workshop takes place up a short flight of stairs (14-16). This venue does not have a lift.

Purchasing a ticket confirms that you have read and agreed to abide by our ground rules, and to our refunds policy.

Refunds & Costs

All bookings include a non-refundable booking fee.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds are not available for one-off, single day courses, or workshops.
Cancellations within two weeks of an intensive or weekly course will not be refunded.
Any and all refunds are at MissImp\’s sole discretion.

Contact & Changes to Events

Should any changes in venue or availability occur (including cancellations), we will seek to contact you using whatever methods you provide us with, eg email or phone number.

Please ensure your contact details are correct, and in particular look out for a confirmation email about your booking. You will receive a confirmation of payment email from either Ticketsource or PayPal (depending on the payment method). We will email you from [email protected] within a week of the course starting. Remember to check your spam filters, and we strongly advise that you add [email protected] to your address book to ensure our emails arrive in your inbox. We cannot check your email – it’s up to you to ensure that we can contact you. If you have not received an email from us, please contact us.

MissImp cannot offer refunds if the above measures have not been taken or incorrect contact details are provided.

Should your course dates include shows managed by MissImp, you will be offered free entry! (Note that this doesn’t include events hosted and managed by other organisations such as Nottingham Playhouse).
