All Aboard! with Duncan
Have you ever watched a bad movie with a fantastic actor in it? They love playing their character, they light up every scenes they’re in, they’re eating the scenery. What’s wrong with them?! Don’t they know they’re in a bad movie?!
There are lots of reasons why we don’t commit. The word itself COMMITMENT can be quite intimidating (especially surrounded by ghosts) but remember, in improv, you’re never alone. Scene partners and audience alike, we’re all in this together. Let us start as we mean to go on! If we treat worthless ideas as worthy then they will become so! Let us empower each other with our energies and that feedback loop will result in scenes of hilarity and excitement!!!
This week we will be delivering our offers with 100% conviction and receiving our partners offers as if they’re the exact idea we wanted, exactly when we needed it! Why not commit to coming along?
We’ve run a weekly drop-in workshop for improvised comedy in Nottingham since 2005! Come and check it out – everyone’s welcome to join the fun.
The perfect intimate opportunity to practice some of our favourite improv games, and stretch out those improvising muscles. Each week features training in a different set of skills, exercises, scenes, or games, facilitated by various members of the Nottingham improv community.
