Heads up – we’re back at the Malt Cross!
Like the life of the person who walks on four legs in morning, two legs at noon and three legs in the evening, our improv scenes have different phases. By being aware of these different phases and applying relevant skills at different points, we can make life easier for ourselves and our scene partners, and more entertaining for our audience.
This week Lee will be running through exercises to help us distinguish our Yes, ands from our If, thens. We’ll ensure we’ve created a base reality for our scenes, clear to both performer and audience, so that the unusual thing about those scenes stands out, and the moves we make look as compelling, hilarious and stunning as possible.
