Weekly Drop-In

This week is hosted by

This week’s drop-in: Down to Clown

Brought to you by Lee.

This week we will be looking at the fundamentals of clowning – because we can’t have fun as clowns unless we get da-mental headspace right  (🤦). We’ll be running through a series of clowning exercises, exploring overlaps and differences with improv and discovering some basics of clowning like being silly, using physicality, eating children in storm drains, the nature of clown justice and focusing on the audience.
Anyone with coulrophobia (fear of clowns) – fear not – there will be no makeup, big shoes or custard pies (although if anyone wants to bring a pie, Lee offers himself up for pieing target practice).
