This week’s drop-in: Character Mash
Brought to you by Lloydie.
This Thursday we are going to focus on the impact a fun character makes to a scene. By “fun character” I don’t mean accents, a silly walk or a raised voice – I’m talking about the stuff that comes from the inside. Whilst a fun accent might let us know the character is French, Welsh or Cornish, an accent isn’t a character. We are going to dig deep into how our characters behave and then see what happens when we put them with someone in a scene – and hey, if they happen to be Cornish, that’s cool too.
