This week’s drop-in: Don’t Forget You Could Be Laughing 65% More Of The Time
Brought to you by Parky.
Positivity goes a long way in improv. Not just agreeing, accepting offers, and moving forward, but just having a positive attitude towards your scene partner and the scene.
So, what if we were not only to remove conflict – just agree that a problem was terrible and make it worse – but also to go into every scene with nothing more than a smile on our lips? Imagine how much more joyous things could be if you opened your scenes with a smile or a laugh.
So, this week we’ll drill down on agreement and acceptance with some quickfire exercises in a group and in pairs. We’ll then play a load of scenes where positivity, and a smile, will be key. Prepare for your scenes to be paused and given an injection of love if they require more joy, more yes, and more frowns turned upside down.
