This week’s jam: Scenes, Scenes, Scenes

This week’s jam is brought to you by: Ben

This week we are mostly going to run a lot of scenes. The scene is the basic unit of any improv show. Be it a shortform game or a longform structure, all improv comes down to scenes.

This Thursday Ben will show you new ways of approaching scene work with a lot of personalised feedback for each player to help you stretch their improv muscles and try new ways of having fun. We will drill the basics quickly before looking at getting out of your head and into the scene. We will also have scenes which could be cut off at any time so you have to get in there quick to get to grips with what’s going on.

Thursday will be fast paced – lots of playtime to get those all important improv reps that help you develop as a performer and will give you an even better hit rate with your scenes.
