This Sunday, there will be an open audition for HR’d Day’s Night, the comedy
play at this year’s Nottingham Comedy Festival. The play is about a woman who
works in HR, but who runs a really bad cabaret evening in her spare time. We’ve almost cast the whole play but there are a couple of parts that require
some versatile actory types, preferably with a little basic musical ability
(although there is one part that won’t require this so don’t let that put you
off). Our director, Martin Berry, will be holding these auditions this Sunday (15th)
at The Lord Roberts pub in Hockley. Rehearsals are going to be every Wednesday
evening, 6-10pm, starting next week, and the show takes place at The Arts
Theatre on 25th/26th September. If you’re interested in coming along, please let Helen Stead from the NCF know.
